My second Game

today I released my second game!
it took me 4 and a half years to complete this project, which is by far the longest one of my personal pieces.
not sure how well it will be received, but to be honest I don't think it matters that much. I would do it all over again even if only my mom bought a copy of the game :D
I hope you enjoy this behind the scene post! If you want to check the game out, it's available on Steam, and its called "Way of the Bullet"

the procedural map generator in it's full glory! it took several iterations to make a script that generates maps quickly and are also fun to play! this was one of my favourite parts of the project!

there are around 40 characters in the game, and around 20 weapons. first I set out to find a style that I enjoy to make, and is also fast so I can actually make a whole game with it :D this is what I came up with

speedrunning the development process. it stared out as an FPS but at some point I decided to switch to TPS view as I felt it fit the gameplay and the visual style a bit better

some work in progress shots from early builds. I've been working on this game for 51 months, its crazy that its finally release day :D

concepts from my sketchbook. I love drawing with ink so naturally that became part of the process. most of the things that made it into the game were sketched out on paper first
